Expelled – Bad science meets bad history

April 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment

You have to wonder about anyone who can still lend credibility to the old saw of connecting Darwin with National Socialism and the “Final Solution” in the Nazi’s bizarre ideology. Fortunately, the IDiots behind the (“we’re not screening it for critics”) much hyped new movie Expelled are so transparently dull in their attempts, it seems, that we have little to fear in regards to people learning counter-factual history from it.

Of course, plenty of its audience will already believe this and similar historical distortions and outright lies, but you might as well try to get a bullet to obey a restraining order as try to get these died-in-the-wool IDiots to accept anything like historical or scientific evidence if it challenges their faith by one iota. It just goes to show that some historical myths, like the hydra of legend, never die: they just sprout new heads and grow to plague us again.
